The Rangasangeeta and Kathagayan demonstrations were presented by students of the National School of Drama (NSD), Bengaluru Centre, 11th Batch, on 29 and 30 September 2026 at the NSD Bengaluru premises. The programmes were held in memory of the late Shri Chidambara Rao Jambe.

Guided and directed by renowned Music Director Shri Susheel Sharma, the demonstrations gave students valuable practical experience in music, narration, rhythm and theatrical expression. The sessions enriched their understanding of theatre and encouraged a thoughtful, creative approach to performance.

The presentations also served as a meaningful tribute to Shri Chidambara Rao Jambe’s memory and contribution, while giving students an opportunity to engage with traditional forms of musical and narrative theatre.
